Tax Prep for Real Life: How Our Virtual Process Works

Here’s what to expect after you join the Tax Season 2027 waitlist. We’re with you through the steps, with one-on-one support during filing and after tax season.

01

Join the waitlist

Send us your name and preferred contact email. We’ll share next steps as the 2027 season approaches.

02

Tell us about your situation

When intake opens, share your income sources, household details, and any changes that may affect your return. We will provide instructions for secure document submission when intake opens and direct you to the appropriate client portal if one is used. During your one-on-one virtual tax consultation, LaCaya will explain the details and review your return with you before filing through the IRS e-file process.

03

We review the details

We carefully review your facts and records to identify credits and deductions supported by your circumstances and current tax rules.

04

Review before filing

We go over your return with you so you can ask questions and approve it before it is filed.

Due diligence matters. We take required questions and documentation seriously. Careful review helps us catch errors, identify possible tax due before filing, and reduce avoidable amendments and preventable issues.

After tax season, you can contact us about a notice related to a return we prepared and discuss next steps.
